Public prosecutor's investigating committee destroyed counterfeit “Kirieshki” in Stavropol region

The Pyatigorsk district investigating department destroyed counterfeit rusks “Kirieshki” in markets in district of Caucasian Mineralnye vody (Stavropol region)- 20,3 thousand packs and 727 bags, — so said Elena Frolova, assistant administrator of investigating department to RIA Novosti.

According to the advisory action the counterfeit rusks excepted at police search are primitive manufactured food products. “The court sentence to the case of counterfeit ‘Kirieshki’ has come into force”. Accordingly investigating department is ought to destroy false commodity and packing equipment. Everything of it is destroyed now: 20,3 thousand packs, 623 boxes, 727 bags with rusks “Êirieshki”, packing machinery, packing film “Kirieshki”, 2,1 thousand empty boxes of “Kirieshki”, — so the journalist.

On the 16th of April Pyatigorsk district court passed sentence to a citizen of Tajikistan, accused of illegal using of brand “Êirieshki”, on penitentiary works for a year and regular payments of 20% of salary to the state's income .

According to the court file, the unemployed citizen has been buying rusks, thermo-film and embossed package with brand of “Kirieshki” from a person undefined by investigation in Pyatigorsk, all rights for the brand are reserved to Close corporation management company “Sibirskiy bereg” (ZAO UK “SB”). The suspected sold manufactured products in markets in region near Caucasian Mineralnye Vody. The sum of caused damage has made 258 thousand rubles.
