How BEERka became cheese

So far seafoods (squid, dried fish) and meat have been produced under BEERka trademark. In the next few weeks a new product, cheese, which is also positioned as beer snack, will be offered for sale. The product represents a natural cheese in the form of small bars. Its taste reminds cheese plait. An output of two kinds, mildly smoked and smoked cheese, is scheduled. The recommended price at sales outlets is 23 rubles.

“In the initial stage sales territory will be limited by Novosibirsk region. Sales geography will be gradually expanded and their volumes will be increased”, — says Natural Snacks Project Manager, Elena Lyubaeva. Company intended to launch cheese a few years ago. “But at the time market wasn't ready to consume cheese as a snack. Researches, which we conducted last year, showed that the Buyer was ready to buy also cheese snack as beer snack”. Elena Lyubaeva thinks that cheese will become the most popular beer snack for it is a natural low-caloric carbohydrate-free product. At present, the Russian cheese snack market is only aborning but we regard it as the most perspective. An output of the product will allow “Sibirsky Bereg” to establish itself as a market leader.
