It is not easy being a socially responsible company. Responsibility is a key word in the previous sentence. Responsibility to consumer for the quality of produced products, to employers in providing them with comfortable working environment, sufficient salary, allowances and insurance, and at last to the society, the problems of which concern not only government authorities but every person.

Sibirsky Bereg strives to solve really important social problems. Two charity funds were created in 2005. They focused all their efforts on children: the sports club “Sibirsky Bereg” and the charity fund “Children of Russia are the future of the world”.

Mission

Protection of children rights. Maintenance and restoration of equal possibilities for orphaned children and children deprived of parent care in the society.

Objective

Creation and assistance in development of programs concerning protection of rights and self-fulfillment of orphaned children.

Tasks

Delivery of assistance to abandoned children and uncared teenagers from the category of children deprived of parent care or to children appeared in a difficult reality situation.
Assistance in discovery and development of orphaned children talents.
Providing facilities for orphaned children could get qualitative education and creation of equal conditions for their getting an occupation.
Holding of research events in order to create a complex approach to solve the problem of child abandonment.
Arranging charity actions against poverty, dieoff, orphanage, rightlessness, hunger and homelessness of children and taking part in them.
Arranging and holding of conferences, seminars, congresses both the city ones and all-Russian.
Development and promotion of legislative initiative in order to optimize implementation of children rights.

Trends

1. Educational trend
Project “Innovative educational program for orphaned children teaching”. It is fulfilled with help of orphan asylums № 11 and № 12 on the basis of school № 27. (professional education, professional orientation).
Project “School of school leavers” is fulfilled together with Department of Social Development and Securing Civil Rights to Social Protection by colleges № 62, № 18, № 60, № 27, № 49, № 76 (post-boarding-school adaptation).

2. Rehabilitating-accompanying trend
Project “Convalescence home for orphaned twice children” (is fulfilled together with the asylum “Bereginya” and Novosibirsk City Hall).
Project “Emergency psychological care for substitute families in crisis situations” (Is fulfilled together with Novosibirsk City Hall and City Centre of Social Orphanage Prevention).

3. Researching trend
“Research and development of methodic in regional social adaptation of orphaned children in different forms of family arrangement”.
“Professional orientation of children deprived of parent care in industrial city life”.
“Compliance of true requirements of an orphaned child with forms of family arrangement”.

In 2007 the Charity Fund “Children of Russia are the future of the world” developed new trends both in its activities area and in cooperation with government authorities. The Fund has initiated and held some events which evoked a wide resonance in more than thirty different cities of Russia.

Sports Club “Sibirsky Bereg”

Currently about fifty fighters are training in the Sports Club “Sibirsky Bereg”. Award-winning sportsmen (this year Alexander Anuchin has hit the standard of World Class master of sports and became the fourth at the World Cup and Vasiliy Teplouhov became the champion of Russia) and 12-13-aged boys who have just started their sports career are training there together. The trainings are held six times a week for two hours each, the training loads on the sportsmen are colossal. A miner puts out about 7500 kcal for a shift and a fighter — about 8500-9500 kcal. According to the words of the Sports Club “Sibirsky Bereg” Director Masur Nizamov“: no matter Graeko-Roman wrestling is considered to be a single fight the club has a tone of unity, teamwork, the boys support each other both during their trainings and while taking part in different competitions. I suppose this is the reason our fighters gain outstanding results”. The results of the Sports Club “Sibirsky Bereg” for 2007 are as follows:

— The International Tournament (France, Nice) November 2007 — first place.

Alexander Anuchin::
— The International Tournament Grand Prix Ivan Poddubny (Russia, Moscow) January 2007 — second place;
— The World Cup (Turkey, Antalya) February 2007 — fourth place;
— The Championship of Russia (Russia, Novosibirsk) June 2007 — second place;
— The International Tournament (Romania, Brazov) August 2007 — first place;
— The International Olympics (India, Games City) October 2007 — first place.

Aleksei Pavlovsky:
— The Championship of Russia among youth (Russia, Saratov) June 2007 — first place;
— The International Tournament in prizes of K. Vyrupaev (Russia, Irkutsk) October 2007 — third place.

Gevorg Kavalyan:
— The All-Russian Tournament in memory of V. Oleinik (Russia, Novokuznetsk) February 2007 — first place;
— A participant of the Championship of Russia (Russia, Novosibirsk) June 2007;
— The International Tournament in prizes of K. Vyrupaev (Russia, Irkutsk) October 2007 — third place;
— The Championship of the Siberian Federal District (Russia, Krasnoyarsk) December 2007 — first place;
— The Championship of the Novosibirsk Region (Russia, Novosibirsk) November-December 2007 — first place.

The club mainly consists of 20-25-aged young people but any adult could envy their patience, sense of purpose and self-restraint. Sport is a profession and a favorite occupation for them and for Alexander Anuchin “this is a labor combined with a favorite work”. As the sky is the limit for the club it plans to take part in each sports event of 2008 no matter local, Russian or international.
