Today Managing Company “Sibirsky Bereg” CJSC is one of the leading producers of snack products in Russia. The main activity of the Company is production and selling of snack products in Russia and near-abroad countries. The Company is specialized in production of bread baked snacks and natural snacks made of squids, fish and meat. It also produces chips, nuts and seeds.

One of the key competitive advantages of the Company is that being actually a founder of the bread baked snacks segment in Russian snack market and taking there up certainly leading positions, the Company has managed to enter and consolidate its positions in all segments of the snacks market for the short period of time. To realize this goal the Company acquired some Russian and foreign companies manufacturing snack products and invested in construction and establishing of its own factory in Australia in 2005-2006. In 2008 the Company is planning to launch a factory in China.

Another absolute advantage of the Company is its own trading network. Besides Russia the controlled sales network has been made in Kazakhstan, Belarus and Ukraine. Also the sales are carried out in some countries of Europe, Asia and Australia.

Early in 2007 the Company proved the high management quality by successful running the certification of conformance to ISO 9001:2000 International Standard. The Certificate is valid in Great Britain, the USA, the Netherlands and Germany.

Nowadays the main activity of the Company is producing and selling of snack products in Russia and near-abroad countries under such national brands as “Kirieshki”, “Kompashki”, “Bombaster”, FAN”, “Chipsony”, “BEERka” and “Kulyok”.

In 2003 the Company production was entitled “Snack No 1” on the territory of two countries at once, Kazakhstan and Belarus. At different times the Company snacks were awarded with Russian awards such as “The Âest Brand”, “Top 100 of the Best Russian Goods”, “Goods of the Year” and “Super Brand of the Year”. In 2005 the Company brand “BEERka” was awarded with “The Gold Lion” in Cannes Festival. For three years on end the bread baked snacks “Kirieshki” are recognized as “Goods of the Year” by the National Trade Association of Russia.

Today Managing Company “Sibirsky Bereg” CJSC is one of the leading integrated and diverse producers of snack products in Russia.

According to the results of strategic planning session which took its place at the beginning of 2008 top management of the Company have decided to focus all the efforts on the development of bread baked snacks and natural snacks lines. The Company has a strong lead in these segments: the Company's share in bread baked snacks market in Russia was 50%, the share of “BEERka” brand in the market of packed seafood snacks was 14% (according to the data of AC Nielsen in December 2007). The Company plans to strengthen its market presence and develop its brands in nuts, chips, seeds segments.
